We are involved in epidemiology and the identification of sites of contamination with microbes, as well as the remediation measures to be taken for the alleviation and elimination of these hazards and foulings in: hospitals and hospital environments, personal care products, nebulizers, humidifiers, packaging rooms, sterile rooms, foods, food products, cosmetics, reagents, chemicals, biochemicals, ocular and periocular products, including mascaras, eye shadows, contact lenses, and contact lens solutions (i.e. cleaners and disinfectants).
We understand the physical and biocidal approaches to microbial control, public health and many other medical microbiology issues.
Dr. Reinhardt has worked on the enumeration and characteristics of specific microbes and their products. Dr. Reinhardt is able to assist in the design and development of particular products and reagents with antimicrobial activity, as well as the design, redesign, or remediation of manufacturing and production sites. . Dr. Reinhardt has expertise in the area of gram-negative fermenting and non-fermenting bacilli, spore forming bacteria, and their identification, control, and removal.
